Cancellation Policy (effective 10/1/23): All sales are final. You must cancel out of class online through Sign Up Genius 2 hours in advance to avoid incurring $10 cancellation fee. Repeated cancellations triggers loss of scheduling privileges in software - contact studio directly to reinstate.

My first attempt at applying lipstick 😂 One of the most important lessons my Dad taught me was to embrace failure. As a physicist, he understood there was value in learning what doesn’t work. In yoga, I strive to infuse our traditional vinyasa with nuggets of meaningful creativity that may or may not be strictly entrenched in yogic tradition. May is skin cancer awareness month. 20,000 Americans die from melanoma each year, including my sweet mom 💔 Melanoma is aggressive. My mom walked daily & we were planning a hiking trip to Crater Lake. A localized seizure in her foot resulted in testing that revealed stage 4 melanoma. 12 weeks later she died. Know the signs (from AAD.org) A is for Asymmetry One half of the spot is unlike the other half. B is for Border The spot has an irregular, scalloped, or poorly defined border. C is for Color The spot has varying colors from one area to the next, such as shades of tan, brown or black, or areas of white, red, or blue. D is for Diameter While melanomas are usually greater than 6 millimeters, or about the size of a pencil eraser, when diagnosed, they can be smaller. E is for Evolving The spot looks different from the rest or is changing in size, shape, or color.
